Policy prevents Homeland Security from checking visa applicants’ social media accounts

A report suggests that Tashfeen Malik, the wife and accomplice of San Bernardino shooter Syed Farook, could have been prevented from obtaining a U.S. visa if immigration officials were allowed to check her social media profiles.
