Jeep Renegade SUV review - Carbuyer

Description

The Jeep Renegade is the American brand's smallest ever car, and its first proper foray into the crossover/small SUV segment. It's based on the Fiat 500X and comes with a range of petrol and diesel engines, with either front or four-wheel drive on certain models. It's unmistakably Jeep on the outside, plus it delivers on the company's heritage of being pretty useful when the road gets rough, too. It promises to be one of the best small SUVs off-road, but how does it stack up on the road? Watch the review to find out!

  • Jeep Cherokee SUV review - Carbuyer

The Jeep Cherokee occupies a unique place in the new car market. It's a spacious and comfortable SUV with plenty of off-road pedigree, but it's also available with two-wheel drive to cater for those looking for crossover/SUV styling with lower running costs. It's similarly-sized to popular crossovers like the Nissan Qashqai, but its high price means it's also a competitor to the premium Audi Q5 and BMW X3. It's looks are sure to divide opinion, too, while top-spec models come with strong diesel engines and plenty of standard equipment.

  • Mercedes GLC SUV 2016 review - Carbuyer

The Mercedes GLC is a premium SUV aimed at stealing sales from the popular Audi Q5 and BMW X3, and also the more left-field Lexus NX and stylish Range Rover Evoque. It comes with a choice of diesel engines, as well as a plug-in hybrid and, with stylish looks and an interior lifted from the C-Class saloon, it's sure to be a success. • Toyota RAV4 SUV 2016 review - Carbuyer

The Toyota RAV4 is known for being reliable, spacious, practical, but also a little dull. Toyota has given it a refresh with a new look up front, some tweaked lights at the rear and a couple of updates to the engines and trim levels. You can get the RAV4 with a 2.0-litre D-4D diesel engine, a 2.0-litre petrol engine or a 2.5-litre V6 petrol mated to an electric motor - the RAV4 Hybrid. In this review we're testing the RAV4 2.0 D-4D with a six-sped manual gearbox to see if the changes make it competitive with the latest raft of family SUVs.

  • SsangYong Tivoli SUV review - Carbuyer

SsangYong is best known for its reasonably-priced large SUVs, but now the company is taking on the fashionable compact crossover with the new Tivoli. It's cheap, well-equipped and comes with a choice of petrol or diesel engines, as well as front or four-wheel drive. It's also got plenty of room inside, so does the rest of the package impress?

  • Lexus RX SUV 2016 review - Carbuyer

The new Lexus RX is the Japanese brand's poshest SUV ever. It's available in RX200t or RX450h models, and is aimed at competing with other premium SUVs like the BMW X5 and Volvo XC90. Its hybrid engine puts in in the crosshairs of the Porsche Cayenne hybrid, too. It promises low running costs and a luxurious interior, but does it deliver?
