Images of the Atanasio Girardot International Bridge closed and guarded by police on the border between Colombia and Venezuela, days before the presidential elections. Caracas ordered the armed forces to close the border between Friday 26 July and Monday 29 July to "guarantee the inviolability of the border and prevent the activities of persons who could pose a threat to security" as Venezuelans are expected to vote in presidential elections on July 28.
