Israeli police officers and military secure the site where three people where killed in what police described as a shooting attack near the Allenby Crossing between the occupied West Bank and Jordan. The deadly shooting at the Allenby Bridge Crossing, also known as King Hussein Crossing, comes amid surging violence in the West Bank, with major Israeli military raids and attacks by Palestinians. Separatist militants killed at least 39 people in "coordinated" attacks in southwestern Pakistan that largely targeted ethnic Punjabis, government officials said. In one of the attacks, dozens of militants stopped vehicles travelling on a highway through Balochistan province and shot 23 people dead -- one of the worst shootings in the region in the past several years.
