South Africa's unrest was 'planned' and 'instigated', says president

The past week's deadly unrest and mass looting in South Africa were planned and instigated, President Cyril Ramaphosa says while visiting some affected areas in the eastern province of KwaZulu-Natal. Authorities say they have identified 12 suspects in the unrest, which left at least 117 people dead. SOUNDBITE
