Ireland votes ‘yes’ on same-sex marriage

Description

IRELAND — Ireland became the first country to legalize same-sex marriage by popular vote. “Yes” supporters gathered in the streets of Dublin to celebrate their victory. Irish voters decided on Saturday to grant same-sex couples the right to get married. All but one out of the 43 constituencies voted 'yes' on the referendum.
