The EU says that it is "alarmed by the alleged Israeli strike" on the Iranian consulate in Syria's Damascus and warns against any escalation after Tehran vowed revenge. Emergency services clear rubble at the site of an Israeli strike on Damascus that killed the Iranian Revolutionary Guards' spy chief for Syria and three other Guards members on Saturday, Iranian media said, in an attack that flattened a multi-storey residential building.
