UN voices 'serious concerns' over Israeli operation to free hostages

The UN voices alarm at the civilian impact of a dramatic weekend rescue of four Israeli captives in Gaza, that killed more than 270 Palestinians in the Hamas-ruled territory. "We have serious concerns with with respect to the principles of distinction, precaution and proportionality in the conduct of this operation," says a spokesman for the UN rights office. SOUNDBITE
