'27 million people affected by El Nino-induced drought in South Africa' says WFP

The World Food Programme's (WFP) Assistant Executive Director, Valerie Guarnieri, speaking from Rome during a UN briefing says that "27 million people have been affected by the El Nino-induced drought" in South Africa adding that almost four million children are suffering from "acute malnutrition".
