On the first Sunday of April (5th), this fertility festival is celebrated in Kawasaki, Japan. Better known as the "Penis Festival" - The Shinto Kanamara Matsuri ( かなまら祭 ), "Festival of the Steel Phallus") is held each spring at the Kanayama shrine (金山神社) in Kawasaki, Japan.
