At least 30 people are dead after a giant motorway bridge collapsed in the Italian city of Genoa in what the government are calling an "immense tragedy". IMAGES
A rescue team is on the site where a huge boulder detached from the Marmolada glacier in Italy's northern Alps, causing an avalanche that killed at least five people and injured eight others, according to a provisional toll from the rescue services. IMAGES
